How it WorksA simple spring is used to receive the slotted end of bars provides a perfect flexible means for holding units in position.
To the right is an illustration showing the transferring of the units. Figure 1 illustrates how the Spring Belt Holder is placed around the leaves of a book with the staybar in center. Figure 2 and Figure 3 illustrates the method of inserting units, long notch first and then short notch Transfer only one unit at a time to its proper place. Closing book slightly will raise the belt permitting hook to pass under more freely. DO NOT remove more than one unit at a time. Units distributed throughout the book hold belt in place. Units not used in the lesson should be transferred to those parts of the book left vacant after marking the lesson. ALL units should remain in the book at all times. Use number tips to open at citation by either lifting them with the fingers or holding down with the thumb while book is thrown open. Need More Info? Download these helpful tip sheets: |
